Oymurania gravestocki
Taxonomy
Oymurania gravestocki was named by Kouchinsky et al. (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 4194/101 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oy-Muran section, Bed 01, which is in an Atdabanian carbonate limestone in the Pestrotsvet Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Oymurania.

Walls composed of laminae perforated by tiny canals and interconnected by acrotretoid columns. Two types of thicker canals perforate the wall orthogonally vs. parallel to lamination and open on the shell exterior trough the pores situated in a common depression or indentation of growth increments. |
