Taxonomy
Labeceras inflatum was named by Förster (1975). Its type specimen is BSP 1967 XXVII 45, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE end of Lagoa Catuine, bed 3, which is in an Albian marine sandstone in Mozambique.
