Diamantomys timius
Taxonomy
Diamantomys timius was named by Rasmussen and Gutierrez (2009). Its type specimen is KNM-LS 18217, a mandible (Left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothidok Hill, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Erageleit Formation of Kenya.
