Gobiolagus tolmachovi

Taxonomy
Gobiolagus tolmachovi was named by Burke (1941). Its type specimen is AMNH 26142, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Baron Sog, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Shara Murum Formation of China. It is the type species of Gobiolagus.

Synonyms
  • Gobiolagus andrewsi was named by Burke (1941). Its type specimen is AMNH 26091, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jhama Obo, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Gocho Formation of China.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Gobiolagus tolmachovi by Wang (2007).
