Taxonomy
Productus portlockianus was named by Norwood and Pratten (1855).

It was recombined as Dictyoclostus portlockianus by Dunbar and Condra (1932); it was recombined as Antiquatonia portlockiana by Hoare (1961); it was recombined as Antiquatonia portlockianus by Murphy and Picking (1967), Brew and Beus (1976).
