Schramocaris gilljonesorum
Taxonomy
Schramocaris gilljonesorum was named by Clark et al. (2016). Its type specimen is GLAHM 152432, a carapace (isolated carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stenders Quarry, Mitcheldean, Forest of Dean, which is in a Hastarian carbonate mudstone in the Avon Bed 4 Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Schramocaris.
