Conasprelloides planiliratus

Taxonomy
Conus planiliratus was named by Sowerby (1850) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Miocene-Early Pliocene; circum-Caribbean. TYPE: Cotypes listed.]. Its type specimen is BMNH 12799, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Conus (Leptoconus) planiliratus by Cosmmann (1913), Woodring (1928); it was recombined as Conasprelloides planiliratus by Tucker and Tenorio (2009).
