Desmanella compacta
Taxonomy
Desmanella compacta was named by Lopatin (2004). Its type specimen is PIUZ, ALT no. 304, a tooth (Left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed II), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
