Taxonomy
Electrokoenenia yaksha was named by Engel and Huang (2016). Its type specimen is NIGP 163253, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Electrokoenenia.
