J. H. Dolby 1976Disaccate pollen grain with a circular or slightly oval amb. Cappa
finely and densely columellate, dissected into two equal halves by a single,
sharply defined, narrow, transverse polar cleft. Sacci little inflated, structure
of saccus exoexine finely columellate and not clearly differentiated from that
of the cappa; cappula narrow, linear and running the full height of the corpus
so that the proximal cleft and the cappula form a rectilinear cross.
