Taxonomy
Synartinskia meyaoense was named by Zhou (2017). Its type specimen is NIGP 88978, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Collection 7082, Meyao Section, bed 19, which is in an Asselian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Nandan Formation of China.
