Taxonomy
Aristoceras liuzhaiense was named by Zhou (2017). Its type specimen is NIGP 89008, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Collection 7095, Zhuangli section, bed 11, which is in an Asselian basinal (siliciclastic) claystone in China.
