Sigmelasma pantherae
Taxonomy
Sigmelasma pantherae was named by Potter (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lover's Leap, USNM 18122, cl. 1, which is in a Llandeilian carbonate limestone/conglomerate in the Kangaroo Creek Formation of California. It is the type species of Sigmelasma.
