Taxonomy
Timsaloproetus dibbanus was named by Gibb and Chatterton (2007). Its type specimen is UA 13257, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zguilma section, Timrhanrhart Fm, Lower Bed, ZGEE1 , which is in an Emsian shallow subtidal mudstone in the Timrhanrhart Formation of Morocco.
