Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M. Pichardo 2004Froma sample of fifty Valsequillo teeth Nobis found large E. mexicanus-sized uppers(Nos. 2, 4), which have flexed protocones like E. conversidens but have a low protocone/L index. Also present are mexicanus-size lowers with U-shaped linguaflexids (No. 22a-c), identical to those on the mandible collected in 1966 from the lower cultural level at Hueyatlaco (Hu-I) and to those figured by Hibbard (1955) from Tequixquiac. These present a high Md-Msd 'bow' length/tooth L index.
