Taxonomy
Cancrinella pseudotruncata was named by Ustritsky (1960). It is the type species of Liaozhuotingia.
It was recombined as Costatumulus pseudotruncata by Chen and Shi (2006); it was recombined as Liaozhuotingia pseudotruncata by Shen et al. (2017).
