Taxonomy
Syndyodosuchus was named by Konzhukova (1956). It is not extant. Its type is Syndyodosuchus tetricus.
It was assigned to Eryopidae by Carroll (1988); to Actinodontidae by Schoch and Milner (2000); and to Intasuchidae by Shishkin et al. (2000).
