Lazarussuchus dvoraki
Taxonomy
Lazarussuchus dvoraki was named by Evans and Klembara (2005) [A species of Lazarussuchus differing from the type species in that, despite a similar size and level of skeletal development, the postparietal processes are roughly one third the length of the parietal plate, have a distinct lateral angulation (>45 degrees), and have a concave lateral margin so that the upper temporal fenestrae were smaller and more ovoid with an anteromedial to posterolateral long axis; trunk vertebrae lack spinous processes and accessory surfaces. ]. Its type specimen is NMP Pb 1781 (incomplete left parietal) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Merkur-North, which is in a Burdigalian fluvial-lacustrine marl/coal in the Most Formation of Czechia.
