Taxonomy
Avdeevella mica was named by Baranov (2017). Its type specimen is GM IABM, no. 223/20, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sakyndzha–Us section, which is in a Caradoc carbonate limestone in the Syachan Formation of the Russian Federation.
