Taxonomy
Opikina nasuta was named by Cooper (1956). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.2 miles S. 310 E. of Sharon Springs, which is in an Ashbyan carbonate limestone in the Chatham Hill Formation of Virginia.
