Taxonomy
Lacunauchenius pilosus was named by Wunderlich (2015). Its type specimen is F2536/BU/CJW, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Wunderlich coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Planarchaea pilosa by Wunderlich (2017).
