Nuttallia salina
Taxonomy
Nuttallia salina was named by Roth and Guruswami-Naidu (1978). Its type specimen is USNM 242417, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Cenozoic M2283 Lynch Canyon, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Pancho Rico Formation of California.
