Taxonomy
Acanthoceras worthense was named by Adkins (1918) [= 1920: Acanthoceras sp. Winton and Adkins, Univ. Texas Bull. 1931, p. 69.].

It was recombined as Stoliczkaia (Lamnayella) worthense by Kennedy (2004), Szives (2007).
