Forfexopterus jeholensis

Taxonomy
Forfexopterus jeholensis was named by Jiang et al. (2016). Its type specimen is HM V20, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Xiao-tai-zi, La-ma-dong, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siltstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Forfexopterus.
