Leda parkei

Taxonomy
Leda parkei was named by Anderson and Hanna (1925) [Lower-Upper Eocene; California]. Its type specimen is CAS 782, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 244, Live Oak Canyon, which is in an Eocene marginal marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.

It was recombined as Nuculana parkei by Turner (1938), Vokes (1939); it was recombined as Calorhadia parkei by Stewart (1946); it was recombined as Nuculana (Saccella) parkei by Givens (1974), Givens and Kennedy (1976); it was recombined as Hilgardia parkei by Moore (1983), Squires (1987), Squires (2001).
