Taxonomy
Pseudelliptio longus was named by Zhu (1976). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qagan Limen Nur, Sonid Youqi, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Qagan Limen Nur Formation of China. It is the type species of Pseudelliptio.
