Taxonomy
Trigonioides (Didymotrigonioides) didymoscriptus was named by Gu (1976). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NIGPAS 25540. Its type locality is Dapo, Pingnan, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yongfu Formation of China. It is the type species of Trigonioides (Didymotrigonioides).
