Diaphus bolini

Taxonomy
Lampanyctus bolini was named by David (1943). Its type specimen is UCMP 10026, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CIT 326, which is in a Miocene marine shale in the Modelo Formation of California.

It was recombined as Diaphus bolini by Fierstine et al. (2012).
