Taxonomy
Olenellus (Paedeumias) chiefensis was named by Palmer (1998). Its type specimen is Figures 5.3, 11.1-11.6 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality ICS-1173, which is in a Lenian carbonate limestone in the Pioche Shale Formation of Nevada.
