Taxonomy
Atelelasma primotica was named by Ross and Barnes (1967). Its type specimen is USNM 145698 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is D 831 CO, which is in a Whiterockian shallow subtidal limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.
