Orithopsis siouxensis

Taxonomy
Necrocarcinus siouxensis was named by Feldmann et al. (1976). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Solen, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Fox Hills Formation of North Dakota.

It was recombined as Orithopsis siouxensis by van Bakel et al. (2012); it was recombined as Cenomanocarcinus siouxensis by Schweitzer et al. (2003), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Karasawa et al. (2014) and Schweitzer et al. (2016).
