Taxonomy
Xantho dispar was named by Dana (1852). It is extant. It is the type species of Glabropilumnus.

It was recombined as Glabropilumnus dispar by De Angeli and Beschin (2008), Beschin et al. (2016), Schweitzer et al. (2022).
