Taxonomy
Vulsella nigeriensis was named by Newton (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kalfu-Tamaskie, which is in a Paleocene marine horizon in Niger.
It was recombined as Pseudoheligmus nigeriensis by Douvillé (1920).
