Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M. Freudenthal et al. 1998Cricetinae of small to medium size. The anterolophid of m1 is dominantly lingual. Labial spur on the anterolophule of M1 generally absent, rarely short. There is a tendency to reduce the mesoloph(id)s, the anterosinusid of m2, and the postero-lingual corner of m3. The M1 is almond-shaped, with an almost straight labial border, and a strongly curved lingual border; the most lingual point lies behind the protocone. M3 round, equally long and broad, often shorter than broad.
