Taxonomy
Koneprusites oresibios was named by van Viersen and Lerouge (2020). Its type specimen is IRSNB a13415 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Crinoidal Limestone Lenses in Marl, Emsian/Eifelian Boundary, Hamar Laghdad, which is in an Emsian/Eifelian shallow subtidal marl/limestone in the Amerboh Formation of Morocco.
