Taxonomy
Subschloenbachia benguellaensis was named by Spath (1922). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dombe-Grande (Couches à Schloenbachia inflata), which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Catumbela Formation of Angola.
