Taxonomy
Cycliocyrillium rootsi was named by Cohen et al. (2017). Its type specimen is Specimen from sample YG644.1 (slide J1204- 17.9 (4)), England Finder coordinates L19-0, Figure 4G. and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is J1301, which is in a Neoproterozoic marine mudstone in the Callison Lake Formation of Canada.
