Beneckeia tenuis
Taxonomy
Goniatites tenuis was named by Seebach (1857). It is not extant. Its type locality is Großkochberg, Rudolstadt, which is in an Aegean/Bithynian carbonate limestone in the Röt Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Beneckeia tenuis by von Mojsisovics (1882), Fritsch (1902), Spath (1934).
