Aquilarhinus palimentus
Taxonomy
Aquilarhinus palimentus was named by Prieto-Márquez et al. (2020). Its type specimen is TMM 42452-1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TMM 42452, western flank of Rattlesnake Mountain, which is in a Campanian paralic mudstone in the Aguja Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Aquilarhinus.
