Taxonomy
Sclerorhynchus fanninensis was named by Cappetta and Case (1999). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North Sulphur River at Ladonia (NSR), which is in a Campanian carbonate marl in the Taylor Marl Formation of Texas.
