Squalicorax deckeri
Taxonomy
Squalicorax deckeri was named by Bice and Shimada (2016). Its type specimen is FHSM VP-18579, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abandoned quarry, Jewell County, which is in a Turonian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Carlile Shale Formation of Kansas.
