Acutalamna karsteni

Taxonomy
Acutalamna karsteni was named by Guinot and Carrillo-Briceño (2018). Its type specimen is AMU-CURS-908, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cementos Andinos quarry (29-37 m above base), which is in a Cenomanian offshore shale in the La Luna Formation of Venezuela. It is the type species of Acutalamna.
