Paraorthacodus jurensis
Taxonomy
Synechodus jurensis was named by Schweizer (1964). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nusplingen quarry (GPIT Tübingen collection), which is in a Kimmeridgian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Nusplingen Limestone Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Paraorthacodus jurensis by Guinot et al. (2014).
