D. R. Prothero and M. R. Liter 2008	Short upright supraorbital horns with bulbous tips. Occipital horn consisting of a short, median bulbous projection. Lacrimal fossa present. Short diastema. Moderate-sized saberlike upper canines in males. Large premolars with little molarization; anterior fossette on p4 open. brachyodont molars. Palaeomeryx fold present on lower molars. Limbs moderately elongated (modified from Janis and Manning, 1998, p. 484).
