Prosopodon assafai
Taxonomy
Prosopodon assafai was named by Noubhani and Cappetta (1995). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Youssoufia, recette 4, explotation souterraine (YOF), which is in a Danian carbonate phosphorite in Morocco. It is the type species of Prosopodon.
