Glyptophiceras himalayanum

Taxonomy
Ophiceras himalayanum was named by Griesbach (1880). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shalshal Cliff, Bed 2, Rimkin Paiar, which is in a Griesbachian offshore limestone in India.

It was recombined as Danubites himalayanus by Diener (1897); it was recombined as Glyptophiceras himalayanum by Spath (1934).
