Taxonomy
Scutella vaquerosensis was named by Kew (1920). Its type specimen is UcMP 11403 and 11404, and CAS 447 (cotypes) and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Echinarachnius vaquerosensis by Grant and Hertlein (1938); it was recombined as Vaquerosella vaquerosensis by Durham (1955).
