E. Perrier 1928Dentition très réduite; 2 petites dents, à l'arrière du maxillaire, suivies de 2 petits crochets sillonnés; 8 dents à la mandibule; palatins et ptérygoïdes, portant des saillies dentiformes. Vertèbres thoraciques antérieures présentant des hypapopbyses faisant saillie dans l'œsophage, tout à fait comme dans le Dasypellis (Voir p. 3105). Une seule espèce: Elachistodon Westermanni, Reinh. Bengale.
