Taxonomy
Nodopleuroceras gujiaoense was named by Miao et al. (2019). Its type specimen is YFMCUG 00225, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GJ-7, Gujiao, which is in a Changhsingian marine siliciclastic in the Dalong Formation of China.
