Lidaconus palmettoensis
Taxonomy
Lidaconus palmettoensis was named by Onken and Signor (1988). Its type specimen is UCMP 38071 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP M-7285, Palmetto Wash, Esmerelda Co. [Harkless Fm], which is in a Dyeran shallow subtidal limestone in the Harkless Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Lidaconus.
